" Dotetsuzenji"​

Khosrow Dehdasht Haidari, Iranian Zen monk (ordained name: Dotetsuzenji) is a Rinzai Zen monk who was ordained as a monk in 1985, at Sogenji Zen Monastery, Okayama, affiliated to Mysuhinji (Mother Temple) under the famous Zen master, Ven. Harada Shodo Roshi.
He was employed by the Ministry of Education in Iran, teaching at junior high schools and Free- Universities for 21 years. He graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from Osmania University, India. His field of research is psychology.
While he was in India, and studying at the university, he was interested in spiritual training: he studied and trained for years in this field and acquired training and techniques in different cities and countries. From 1971-72, he participated in yoga activities in India. In the same year, he learnt Transcendental Meditation(T.M.) in Hyderabad under the expert students of Maha Rishi. From 1977-78, he received the techniques of Bhagwad Osho Rajneesh, known as Kondalini Meditation, Dynamic Meditation and the Secret of Rose Flower directly from the Osho himself. He was a member of Sanyasis in the Ashram of Koregoan Park in Poona City, India. In 1984, he was invited by the Institute for Zen Studies, Hanazono College, Kyoto, Japan.
He studied and practiced Rinzai Zen at Sogenji Monastery, under the direct attention and teaching of the Ven. Harada Shodo Roshi. He also studied Soto Zen, under the guidance of the Ven. Anzan Hoshin Roshi, the Canadian Soto Zen master. In Nepal, he received the Tibetan technique at Swayambhunath Temple, known as the Monkey Temple, in Kathmandu. For further training, he traveled to Thailand and Sri Lanka and practiced with the Theravadian teachers in the hermitages for long meditation. He returned to Japan and received more training at Sogenji form his Zen master. He intended to promote his ideas in his mother country, Iran, but faced difficulties and problems with some Islamic prejudiced groups there. He received his ordination certificates from the Myoshinji temple in Tokyo city, Japan as an official Rinzai Zen monk. At present, he is the member of Rinzai Zen in Japan with the great ambition to transmit the teaching to people all over the world in the form of Zen Therapy by introducing a new dynamic technique, The Numeric Formula for Awakening, which has been approved and appreciated by monks and lay people alike.
